Additive Manufacturing (AM) is highly attractive fast-developing approach, which scientific and technological boundaries still being ununderstood clearly, mostly because of a wide variety of 3D printing technologies involving completely different physical and chemical processes, machinery, software, machine learning (ML), process organization, etc. AM-assisted technologies also involve other significant issues, like economics, process control and optimization, process repeatability, materials characterization, and quality assurance. Being combining different 3D printing technologies relevant for a wide spectrum of materials (metals, ceramics, composites, polymers, organics, etc.), process digitalization and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and several science disciplines, on the one hand, and different branches of industry, on the other one, AM approach is extensively developing by the last years.
9th European Congress on 3D printing and Additive Manufacturing, aiming exploring the boundaries of AM, is evidence for so. The organizing committee cordially welcomes all participants and presenters of the Congress to make significant contribution by reporting on various AM applications, deep analysis of applicability of AM processes from the point of view of utilizing different kinds of raw materials and using different software and AI tools and ML, as well as processes optimization, simulation, and modeling, represent the main theme of the Congress.

The 8th European Congress on 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing was held on October 02-03, 2023 at Holiday Inn Amsterdam – Arena Towers, Amsterdam, Netherlands with the theme: "Discussing Contemporary and Advanced Innovations in 3D printing & Additive Manufacturing" and has witnessed an amalgamation of outstanding speakers who enlightened the attendees with their knowledge related to the field of 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing.
